Turn to Flagons Den for London Business Advice

If you are starting a company or looking for advice on a product or service you are pitching there is a fantastic group in London called Flagons Den. It is a group of entrepreneurs who meet monthly to share ideas, test out product pitches. If you fancy talking you get to stand up and speak for 3 minutes with a microphone to articulate your ideas. After your three minute talk questions are open to the floor of attendees (usually around 40 or so business people). You’ll get asked all sorts of questions some trying to catch you out, sometimes asking for a clearer explanation – but it’s a great way to get instant feedback. You’ll know very quickly if what you’ve been toying around with externally is understandable by a wider audience.

What better way to prepare yourself from questions from your clients, suppliers, investors and colleagues.

If you don’t have anything to talk about, you can simply take part in the networking over beer which takes place before and after the pitches. Talk or listen, it’s your choice. The atmosphere is relaxed and the group is extremely friendly. For more information visit the Meetup page.
